London Brain Tumour Walk 2019

1031 Fresh Radio proudly presents the London Brain Tumour Walk 2019!

Join the Movement to End Brain Tumours at the 26th Annual London Brain Tumour Walk on Sunday June 9 at Victoria Park!

Brain Tumours are more common than most people think with 27 Canadians being diagnosed every day. These survivors come from all backgrounds and are of any age, from children to seniors. Each of these people has a story and they all deserve support, information and education to help them on the journey with this disease.

The first Spring Sprint was held in London, Ontario in 1994 with more than 80 participants. In 2010 more than 4,400 people walked in support of the mission to reach every Canadian affected by a brain tumour through support, education, information and research. The 2011 Spring Sprint campaign beat the goal of $1.5 million for this mission.

In 2012, Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada marked 30 years of bringing hope to brain tumour patients with a year of celebration that reflects on the past while embracing a future of hope and support for those affected by a brain tumour.
