The first annual SkateABLE Community Skate-A-Thon will take place on Saturday, February 23, 2019 beginning at 2:30PM and will be open until 4:30PM, and will be hosted graciously by Western Fair District’s Sports Centre on Collins Rink.
This event features a silent auction, live entertainment, and a special appearance from London’s own Green Ranger!
Entry is by donation and skaters are encouraged to seek pledged support ahead of their skate. Families, groups, and individuals welcome. All money raised at this event will directly support London’s SkateABLE program – a unique, adaptive ice skating program supporting children, youth, and adults with physical and/or cognitive disabilities by integrating them into a social, physical recreation program!
SkateABLE is a registered charity. Tax receipts will be available for donations of $25.00 or more.
Silent auction tickets will be available for purchase in advance and on the day of the event.
1 pledge (must be worth $2.00+) will entitle the recipient to 1 silent auction ticket (must be 18+).
