Good Neighbors Canada’s Pumpkin Spice 5K fundraiser returns for 2022, for its first in-person event! Join as we Step for Water, walking or running the distance of 5K to fundraise for the Wishing Well Project.

The Wishing Well Project supports communities in rural Zambia whose children need to walk up to 4 hours each day in search of water, and who frequently suffer from contaminated water sources and waterborne diseases such as Dysentery, Cholera, E. coli, and even SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome). Good Neighbors Canada is fundraising to build accessible wells to provide communities with safe, clean drinking water, to keep the population healthy and enable kids to stay in school.

In-person participants will join us on Saturday, October 8th 2022 at Greenway Park, London, ON. Virtual participants are welcome to complete their 5K from any location on any date throughout October and can join the Runkeeper app to race alongside the virtual participant community. No matter how you participate, you will be making a meaningful difference to our neighbours in Zambia who will no longer need to make a long commute to obtain safe water.

Participants who fundraise $50 or more will get their own Pumpkin Spice 5K t-shirt to wear for the event. Additionally, all our participants will receive a gift after completing their 5K – stay tuned for kit announcements.
