It is almost time for children in the community to head back to school, but some families struggle to secure the necessary supplies. Through our annual Fill Up the Bus event, you can help by donating school supplies to children in need at Rotholme Family Shelter.
This year, Fill Up the Bus has gone virtual! Rather than bringing school supplies to a bus during one day in August, we invite you to shop for supplies at sharetheblessings.ca anytime between August 3rd and September 30th, 2021.
Sharetheblessings.ca offers an online catalogue of highly needed items for the children at Rotholme Family Shelter so they can be prepared for a successful school year.
Some of these items include:
- lined notebooks
- gym shoes
- lunch bags
- reusable water bottles
- snacks
- child-sized face masks
- grocery store gift cards
- and much more
When you select an item to donate through the online catalogue, Rotholme Family Shelter will receive your donation to cover the cost of that item. We will then be able to purchase these items for the children who stay with us throughout the school year. For help with the catalogue’s check out process, please refer to our step by step guide.
If you prefer, we are also able to accept donations in the form of cheques made payable to Mission Services of London and mailed to 4-797 York St., London, Ontario, N5W 6A8.
